“Tiger Jam” Basketball Pep Band is a 40 – 60 member select group of musicians that performs at all men’s and women’s home games during the Spring semester. This group has also performed at select invitational tournament games and Gulf South Conference tournament games. Members are chosen by invitation and audition each November from the marching band membership. Robert Hesse, Director of Athletic Bands, is the pep band director.

This group is instrumental in helping raise Tiger Spirit at the home games. “Tiger Jam” offers a student a change to support the Ouachita Baptist University Basketball teams, as well as entertain the fans at each home game. “Tiger Jam” has gained recognition throughout this part of the country as one of the premiere pep bands and definitely a group you will want to see and hear at the Tiger Basketball events.
