#1
   (Due 9/3)   Ch.2
    Terms Quiz #1

#2   (Due 9/8)   Ch.2     1, 4, 6, 7, 13, 15, 16, 18

#3   (Due 9/8)  Magic 8 Ball Program

Create a simple program that randomly provides a response to a yes/no question
Have 4 positive and 4 negative responses

#4   (Due 9/17)    Ch.3&4     Terms Quiz #2

#5   (Due 9/24)   Ch.3   3, 5, 9, 14
                           Ch.4   11, 12

Test #1 (Ch. 2-4)  (10/1)

Roots, Optimization

#6
(Due 10/6)   Ch.5   8, 15, 17, 19    (Turn in answers on single sheet of paper)
Use both incsearch and bisection methods
Use only incsearch on problem 19 with 1,000,000 steps

#7
  (Due 10/13)   Ch.6   5, 11, 15, 17, 20  (upload code to OneDrive Folder)
Other than problem 6.5 which requires both, use modsecant only
For problem 11, use xo = 3.15 or the method wont converge.
For problem 17, use x = -50 to 2000 for the range to find the root and xo = 1000. (the graph will not look useful)

#8   (Due 10/20)   Ch.7   21, 24, 25, 26, 30, 33    (Turn in answers on single sheet of paper)
For problem 24, the inflection points occurs where the function changes from concave up to concave down. This
point can be located by finding the minimum of the first derivative.
From problem 26, use -f(x) to determine the max.

Test #2 (Ch. 5-7)  (10/20)

Systems of Equations

#9   (Due 11/3)    Ch.8   9, 15    (Turn in answers on single sheet of paper)    Worksheet
